The " Mega Power Saver / EMI Filter" is designed to be used in 100-120V; 50-60 Hz single phase systems.

The "Mega Power Saver / EMI Filter" improves the efficiency of home appliances by positively regulating their "Power Factor" during operations and it performs best in power-hungry appliances such as older generation refrigerators that are not awarded the "Energy Star" labels, air conditioners, electric fans, garbage disposals and washing machines etc.

It works by reducing the amount of power drawn by these appliances from the power grid by capturing and storing any of the excessive, unconsumed voltages (or fractions of) in its built-in, gigantic capacitor and recycle same back into the circuitry during off-peak hours.

(All different utility companies in different places in the World have different billing systems but more often than not, these excessive voltages are billed and consumers pay for them even though they never even know of their existence.)

Just like human beings, appliances age too and the aging process begin from the first use out of the box.

As they age, they would gradually draw more and more power from the source in order to perform at the same levels they use to and in such cases, the "Mega Power Saver / EMI Filter" can help because it can help reduce the reactive power generated by inductive loads.

By doing so, the "Mega Power Saver / EMI Filter" simultaneously prolongs the lifespan of the said appliances because the slower the motors rotate, the lower temperature will the operating surroundings be and that s good news for the motors.

With the exception of a small LED ON/OFF indicator which, during "ON" mode emits a tiny yet distinctive blue ray with negligible if not absolute " Zero" power, the "Mega Power Saver / EMI Filter" does not consume power itself.
